Ahhh……what a beautiful morning out on the water. 😎. The crew of Sallyport are working their way back up to the Mill after a Flintstones brekkie.
Coxed by our bosun and keen twitcher Geoff, all is well until Geoff suddenly yanks at his binoculars and the rudder veers to port and Sallyports crew start pulling towards a mud bank.
Between strokes Geoffs keen gaze remains skyward, watching some sort of bird.
He starts scribbling notes on the back of an old beer mat he produces from his pocket.
As Sallyport gently runs aground the beer mat falls into the water.
It is recovered by stroke Liz W , who can see the notes he has made, they read…..
