20 years of Langstone Cutters - Celebration Row 10th November
Dear Members
Our club is 20 years old this year
To celebrate the committee would like as many members as possible to take part in a celebration row on the 10th November ( with an second weather option of the 24th November ) . I can be more specific over the timing but the launching time will be around 11 am.
The aim is to get the whole fleet on the water and row to Emsworth for a light lubrication in one of Emsworth's finest Taverns before rowing back for a light lunch and perhaps more lubrication in Langstone.
The boats will be suitably flagged up and any additional pimping will be encouraged and members will be encouraged to wear any of the old club clothing they have - the older the better - May be a tee shirt from an early GRR - hopefully not covered in paint !!!
In terms of teams the intention is to mix everyone up and draw crews from a hat and then all change in Emsworth for the return leg so you will all row different boats back with other club members . This is a social event and everyone will be encouraged to join in. All you need to do is sign up and enjoy . Colin
