AGM 23 Jan 24 - outcome of vote

Liz Walmsley
We had a very successful and amenable AGM last night with 81 members in attendance.  Thank you to all who contributed.  The record of the meeting will be produced in due course but I thought that those who were unable to attend would wish to know that after some very useful comments, questions and debate,  the resolution to dissolve the Club/move to LSC was not passed.
Your new committee will be meeting in early February and we look forward to seeing you out on the water soon.
row on ........
Liz (your new Chair)

Thank you to everyone who has worked hard over the past few months to explore this possibility. Also to those who made last night work. The food was delicious!

Thankyou for overseeing a very important AGM in such an inclusive and sensitive manner.
Thanks also to the whole posse of “culinary cutters”
who fed us.
Here’s to an exciting 2025

I'm adding to everyone's thanks for all the huge amount of work done by the working party, researching possible avenues "in case".  I'm sure everyone is also very pleased that the result was absolutely clear, which will leave no ill feeling.  It was a great social evening, lovely to see everyone looking unusually "normal"!
