AGM/New year celebration. 12/01/19

Christine
Dear All,

On the 12th January 2019 at 7pm,  we will be having a chilli and baked potato meal together at the Langstone sailing club. There is an excellently priced bar available and the meal is only £5 a head. This is a enjoyable social event to start the new year for the Cutters Rowing Club.

We will hold the AGM, where you are able to see your rowing pictures on the big screen, (let Ron know if there any you want included).  The officers of the committee will give you a brief round up of the last year and the new committee will be elected and the exciting plans for the coming year laid out, for your input.

Rachel will be showing pictures of what you have achieved for the Melon charity this last year. To celebrate 20 years of rowing for the cutters.  There maybe a few more celebrations coming up in 2019 as the club started in the Autumn of 1998, so we are still celebrating 20 years of rowing achievements.

Please sign up below if you are coming, so we know cateering numbers.

Please also read Frances request for food for the evening if you are able to help in this way. (This is posted below).

Thank you Christine

We'll be sharing a lovely Chilli Supper together, so it would be great if a few of us could bring along a pan of cooked chilli, we'll also probably need a volunteer to provide a vegetarian version.
I'll be bringing a dish of beef chili.
P lease sign up below to indicate that you're able to attend, to help us with catering numbers, and mention if willing to make chilli too. It's also nice to have a few salads to complement the main dish, Any offers to make them gratefully received.
Looking forward to a great evening
Frances

Bobby, thanks very much for the salad offer (perhaps you could state what type of salad, in case of other offers, please?)
As for potatoes, Colin has kindly made his usual generous offer of hundreds of Aga Baked spuds, so we won't need any more, thank you, though, very much.

Frances
Thanks team, for the wonderful offers of chilli and salad items so far. I will coordinate more precisely a bit nearer the time. What we actually need now is more members to sign up here to indicate attendance, so we can get the quantities right... At the moment we've got 17 attendees and chilli offers for about 40!!
So sign up please, and be assured of a great feast. Those who've offered food items, thanks, and I'll try to bring it all together without to many duplications and will post here by middle of next week, with more specific requests.
Thank you, and see you there...
