Saturday 11 January will be our AGM at 7pm, at Langstone Sailing Club. It's an opportunity to get together socially for a shared supper before the business part of the meeting and review of our rowing year, and what's to come in 2020.
I've totted up more than 50 attendees so far, so would like to make a request for offers to bring food to share as follows: 5 volunteers for a pan/casserole of cooked beef chilli to serve about 8. 1 offer of vegetarian alternative 1 offer of alternative to chilli- already received from David E, thanks. 3 or 4 salads, please specify type, to avoid duplication. Baked potatoes, Colin McP, are you able to provide as usual please?? Soured cream Tortilla crisps Desserts? Any offers? It's going to be a great evening. There's also a low cost bar available staffed by our own Geoff and Sharon. If you haven't signed up to come yet, it's not too late, just add your name to the other thread on the Forum. See you there, looking forward to it already! Many thanks in anticipation Frances |

Margaret Hellawell, Bob Mayo, Ali Durie, Nick Hemsley and I will each bring a pudding (e.g. cheesecake) and a pot of cream. Depending on the size of the slices each pudding should feed c.4-6 people.

Is it possible for the vegetarian chilli to have no peppers in it? As I will eat vegetarian/vegan but cannot do peppers. But happy to cook the normal one. Thanks so much. Christine

Hi David and Ann will bring a sausage casserole for four ( we do not like chilli )
|
Thanks David, for confirming your offer of an alternative to chilli, that will be great.
Hello Michael, yes, I too remember someone bringing sausages last year. I think it will be a similar meal plan to last year of hot dish with baked potatoes, accompanied by salads, followed by puds. David has offered a sausage casserole as alternative to chilli, does that fit the bill, do you think? It would be fine to bring sausages if you like, but I think, quantities wise, we will have enough without. Brest regards all F |

Hi Frances. I'm a bit late in replying. I see we have 3 salads. Are you still ok if I make it 4 - perhaps a beetroot winter salad?
