AGM Shared Meal, Request for Contributions

Frances
The Cutters’ AGM, at Langstone Sailing Club, is on Thursday 23 January starting 7pm. It’s an opportunity to get together socially for a shared supper before the business part of the meeting. We usually have a really good turn out, so I’m expecting 60 or 70 people at least, for a really enjoyable friendly gathering.

Our Supper is based on Members bringing food to share, for many years it’s been a Chilli feast. Although if any members are not keen on this, please feel free to bring a pot of something alternative.

I’d like to make a request for offers of the following to present into a really nice spread, please post below to indicate if, and what, you might be able to contribute, and Thank You very much

5 or 6 offers of pan/casserole of Chilli to serve 8/10, ready cooked, so we just heat it in the kitchen.
1 Vegan Chilli version – Dave Myles already offered, thank you
(1 x optional alternative to chilli, if anyone doesn’t care for chilli)

Please bring the above ‘hot meal’ pots earlier (I'll be there from 18.30), to allow us time to heat them

3 or 4 big salads, please specify type to avoid duplication
Baked potatoes – Colin McP hopefully, please?
Soured cream, several pots
Tortilla crisps, several bags
Desserts – any offers??

I'll update here, asking for top-ups, if more needed, due to high numbers attending

It’s going to be a great social evening, there’s also a low cost Bar staffed by our very own Geoff and Sharon. If you haven't signed up to come yet, please let the Secretary know by posting on Liz’s previous AGM  thread on the Forum. Looking forward to seeing you there

Frances

Martin, thank you, but we already have an offer of a Vegan one,  of a very good recipe apparently,  from Dave Myles, so probably don't need another vegetarian one,  unless you feel that would particularly suit you.

I will officially now post on his behalf, sorry, should have done this before

Thanks everyone for your offers, as usual,  the Cutters step up

Hi Francis, we don't seem to be getting the nabble emails again!  Please confirm what food you still need for the AGM and we will bring along.  Thanks, Ally & Steve
