Hi All, I must apologise (especially to Dee) for the article published 14th September regarding our row on the Gloriana. I spoke, on the phone, to a reporter and told him about it in full detail mentioning the club and Dee as the organiser. He called me back asking for pictures of the club and activities and for a picture of me.
I did as asked and provided pictures of all of us and our boats describing our activities with the intention of promoting the club.
I was surprised and embarrassed to see the outcome.

Hi Ron - ( page 14 of today's NEWS )... having read the article, I can't see anything to apologise for. If you gave due credit to Dee over the phone its hardly your fault if Dee doesn't subsequently get a mention. Anyone who has the misfortune to take the News regularly knows their reporting is awful. If you go to an event and then read a report on it you end up wondering if they were at the same event. You know what they say - there's no such thing as bad publicity, and this looks good to me. Getting half a page in the News is no mean feat. I say keep up the good work.
