Bembridge Gigfest 8th/9th June - any more interest please?

Hi all,
      Yarmouth Rowing club are hosting their annual Gig Fest on Sat/Sun 8th/9th June. The event is for Gigs and Galleys and is a mixture of social rowing and racing.

It would be great to support this event. Bembridge is a beautiful place to row and they are a very friendly club. People who went last year loved it.

We would be towing the boats over on the ferry and sharing the cost between participants

I am looking for someone to volunteer to organise this if enough people want to go as I away that weekend.

Hi, obviously can’t do anything to help with towing etc (sorry), but am very interested in going please.

Just shout if there’s anything I can do to help in putting it all together (although I do have a fair amount on my plate at the moment!).

Also, is this something we should be letting the Shovellers and their galleys know about and invite them too?
