Alan is loading Lady on Monday. Phil loading Sweare on Thursday.
Gladys needs retrieving and putting on trailer and Mabel lifted onto trailer. Tides and weather a bit tricky. Should be able to retrieve Gladys at 5.30 to 6.00pm and sort Mabel before that. Any help would be great.
I can't help next week. How about us putting Mabel on the trailer tomorrow. We could do it after the row, if it goes ahead, or just after a quick blast down the harbour. If Glayds team, ior those attending the row, we could help each other out.
Hi all,
I think loading Mabel asap ( i.e.Saturday) is a good idea, esp. as weather lousy, so will turn up to help.
Thursday I need to have Gladys loaded ( so I can store it at home overnight ready for an early morning start Friday morning to catch the crane- in booking at Ham)and would prefer to do this on the dropping tide.
I suggest 12:00, but due to prior commitments cannot be there myself until ca. 14:00. If it is loaded at midday then please leave it on the beach ( or High Street) for me to pick up later.
It could be loaded early on the rising tide ( about 07:00 to 08:00) to allow it to be driven out immediately, but any later would raise further complications. H.W. is at 10:25.
Hi Nigel,
Have you arranged for someone to go up to London with you on Friday?
I’m personally going up with Chris, and Karen is bringing us all back later, but make sure you do have someone with you…advertise on here for someone to help if not!!
Matt
To add another option (sorry), myself and Jenny can come down on Tuesday evening (18:30) to help bring Gladys in. The wind forecast for then is much better than the preceding days and the Wednesday. We could also put Mabel on her trailer assuming it has not been done today. We would only need another 4 to 6 people to help assist with this.
We would be happy to help load whatever other boats need loading after the Thursday row.
