CANCELLED Saturday Tow Row to Tudor

This post was updated on .
Mabel is apparently not really fit for action so it’s off. Apologies all.

We have been invited to take Mabel to Tudor SC on Saturday so they can experience the might and majesty of a Claydon skiff. Tides are poor here so it provides the opportunity for a longer row in daylight hours.
The itinerary is:
09.00. Meet Mill, prepare boat and trailer
10.00. Arrive Tudor SC, launch, row.
12.00. Depart Tudor.
13.00. End at Mill.

Hi Chris,

This Saturday is rostered for me to organise the Saturday row please and I've booked the time and date around other things?

I'm not clear as to how this has been overlooked, if indeed it has?

Please advise.

Thanks
Andy

Sorry Andy - this came up as a result of a meeting with Tudor, who asked for help in expanding rowing at their club. The aim is to see how they like the Claydon and possibly provide access to Tudor’s all-tide slipway for Cutters training crews. We’ll see how it goes. Meanwhile, you have a crew for the evening so your plans are unaffected.

Chris, I understand your want to help with Tudor rowing, but just want to say two things, Mabel is on the trailer for cleanup and mending, have you checked with Nigel who is coordinating this? I don't know if she is just ready to go. Second Andy is right, it is at least diplomatic to contact the duty rowers for that day to let them know what you are doing.  I appreciate it doesn't clash with Andy's row and maybe will let others row that cannot row at that time.
If the boat is suitable and ready to go, please remember to collect pin money.
Thanks Christine
