Cakes for our Blessing of the Boats Event

Frances
Here's an appeal to all the bakers amongst us - the Cutters do this so well!
Our lovely Blessing Ceremony is on Sunday  27 April, and we hope to offer tea coffee and cakes to our guests and visitors, in the boat park, on the day.

In addition to our own members, we've invited our neighbouring rowing clubs to bring a boat over,  so there could be quite a few of us gathered round.

It would be lovely if those able to,  could offer to bring something to share...... I'll bring some flapjacks, do please let me know here if you think you can contribute

Thank you very much
Frances

Hi Francis,
I'll bring cake.
The Gig club are lending us their hot water urn so I'll arrange to get it brought over. Thanks Rachel for enquiring about it with Robina.

Thanks all,  and thank you Lesley..... we were hoping to borrow boxes of mugs from the Gig Club too, much better than paper cups... was anything mentioned about that please?

Hi Francis,
I'm sure that won't be a problem to borrow their mugs  as well.

Thank you Lesley, an urn and quite a lot of mugs (we don't know if we'll be able to wash up yet) is just right. I'm happy to come with you to fetch and carry
