Hello Rachel,

In that case it might reassure us all if we knew what to expect in terms of what is available for us to row.

One galley has already been " booked " out for GRR and Round Hayling Race, so I think that we have every right to be concerned about being asked to row something that we would rather avoid.

Rowing on the Solent is not in any shape or form similar to rowing in sheltered harbours and having fished the waters in and around the race course for many years, i can assure you that both conditions and tidal flows out there can be very challenging.

I have no idea why being a social rower in a social rowing club could be construed as being offensive.

Happy to proceed on both days as planned.

Let me know when you want me and whether you want us to row a galley down on Friday WP as I will have to plan around work.
