Competent Cox Courses

Competent Cox Courses have now restarted at Northney Marina on Saturday mornings.

The next Course is scheduled for Saturday 8th May and will include: Understand and practising:
 
• risks & safety & planning a session;
• preparation & launching a boat;
• the cox’s language & managing a crew,
• understanding harbour signs;
• recovering a boat.

The sessions start at 09.00 and run through to 12.30 with some outdoor classroom work and on the water training and practice in a St Ayles Skiff.

4 places are available for the May Course...  cost is normally £35, for LCRC Members just £10.00.

Sorry Mike, I have to withdraw this time. I’ve realised this is the same day as the five mile race.
Hope to be able to join the course next time.

i managed to double book myself with the 5mile race so i cannot do the cox course now
