If anyone has ever fancied crewing on a tall ship or simply wondered what it is like, the Jubilee Sailing Trust is running two day sails on Thursday and Friday 13th and 14th August from Southampton.
All incusive cost = £ 120.00 which includes meals, some booze and much more.
Yes, you do get a go on the helm and no you don't have to climb the mast, but do feel very good once you have done.
Tenacious weighs over 600 tons and is approximately 200 feet long and has circumnavigated the World.
Everything is provided including , harnesses, boots and wet weather gear.
