Friday is expected to be a nice day, though it has to be admitted that the people who are predicting this are the same people who forecast breezy but dry conditions for the Cowes row when it actually turned out windless but sodden. Anyway, it’s all the info we have to go on so let’s get out Friday morning - HW is 1050.
The galleys are still on the double trailer so I suggest we take advantage of this and tow them to Portsmouth Harbour to view the aircraft carriers and go for elevenses at the Salt Cafe in Wicor Marine. Meet at 0800 to get out before the tide comes in.
Chris, I will drop the recharged W/T's in to the "bin" this afternoon, in case you need them.
Looking at the numbers signed up, I wondered if you were considering an extra boat for tomorrow...if so I could tow G or M and row...otherwise I won't sign on to row as it will make for awkward numbers.
