The forecast is for a nice sunny afternoon with moderate breezes. High tide is at 1630 (4.7 m), so the plan is to row round the harbour and then go for a nice pint at the Royal Oak. Meet at 1500.
I will be bring Langstone Lady back from the Broads on Friday and parking her over night in the Marina. As I will away again from the Sunday for the week I would like to off load Lady before your 15:00 row. Can we muster a party to off load her and what would be a good time to do so considering the tide?
Hi Chris - re offloading Langstone Lady: I'm over at the marina before the excursion row and will gladly help out. Eithne is running a Gig Club mixed and juniors training row which finishes at about half twelve - is it worth asking Eithne and her squads for a hand?
Hi Barry,
Which trailer is Langstone lady on? The double trailer needs to end up at the marina preferably with Bembridge on it, but I don't suppose it matters which boat is where.
Hi Chris,
Aileen and I are hoping to take out 15 seconds tomorrow at 3 pm but now need a 3rd rower/cox. Maybe we could joint your row and sort out if a suitable number sign up.
Thanks Christine
Hya Chris, I would like to join you tomorrow, both boats will I believe be at the compound overnight, they are still on way as did not leave until 4pm and will take some 6 hours to get back. I think Lady is currently on the double trailer behind Nigel. I am free all day to unload where and when directed, a contented if somewhat tired Tim.
I think i have just replied to the wrong event.
Just to confirm that I won't be able to make the row tomorrow due to work commitments
Enjoy and keep on rowing!!
In order to get boats to the right places, I will be going to Northney Marina at 2 o'clock. If a couple of people are around to give me a hand that would be great.
