Fisherman’s buoys off Northney

Out with Dolphin RC today, one of our crews was talking to a local fisherman who expressed concern about his cuttlefish traps near the entrance to Northney Marina.
The traps are marked with a pair of buoys at each end, to the south east of the big red buoy marking the turn to the marina.
Passing between his buoys risks moving the traps and endangering the catch, which the fisherman relies on to provide bait for his commercial operation. He very politely asks that we avoid passing between his markers.

Thanks Chris - added to the Gig club forum too, now I know what the huge string of objects  is that was out all winter, I asked Peter's wife but she didn't know....
