Five miles from home race series

Hi all,
         Below are details of three race events coming up this year organised to replace events which have had to be cancelled. The idea is that each crew completes a 5 mile course on their home waters on a particular weekend, records their row on an App like Strava, and sends in their results.  

To give you an idea of the distance involved this could be from Sweare Deep marker up to Verner and back.

The "Greenock Yardstick" will be applied to the results to try to compare results between classes, although obviously there will be a lot of variation caused by weather and water conditions.  It is a series where being part of the buzz is more important than the crews results...  unless you happen to be a class winner.

There are three races in the series this year:



 We can enter as many crews in each event as we like and a boat can be used by more than one crew.

Please post below if you are interested in being in a crew for the first event on 7th-9th May.
