Hi all,
Tudor Rowing club have started their Friendly Friday rows again for the summer and the first one is on Friday 24th April. This is a great opportunity to get out for an evening row whatever the tide, try rowing a Bursledon Gig and meet people from other clubs.
With the Friendly Friday Racing rowers are not required to bring their own boat and names for the 3 person crews (2 rowers, 1 cox) will be selected randomly. This gives people the opportunity to make new friends, and ensures that winning or losing is a lottery. The start time is 5.45 for 6pm briefing, racing should finish by 8.30pm and the bar will be open afterwards.
The dates for this year are :-
24th April
29th May
26th June
31st July
I will post each one separately so please post below if you are interested in joining the one on 24th April.
Numbers are limited to 2 rowers per club initially although more places often come up.
If you are tempted do try it, its great fun and very friendly!
