Fund raising for Wessex Regional Paediatric Intensive Care Unit

At the AGM we agreed that our charity this year would be The Wessex Regional Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. The Blessing of the boats raised £133.35 from sales of cakes and tea to start our thermometer off.

This weekend the Round Hayling tea and cake tent raised another £115 for the charity and £100 for Club funds. Thank you to everyone who baked a cake or a quiche for the event, we put on a very good spread between us! Thank you also to all those who worked hard making teas and coffees and serving cake to soggy rowers, especially Anne who organised things and made sure it all ran smoothly.
