Hi Joan, rhe Harbour fees are priced around boat length... and then there is a special rate for smaller rowing boats. What are you being charged?

Hi Colin
I have been trying to get somewhere on the invoice for Chichester Harbour - see their response below. It isn’t ideal dealing with accounts departments but I don’t have any other contact there.
The sizes on the invoice are way out of line with the size of the boats and so we would have no defence if they realised this at some point and looked to backdate charges.
I wonder if you know of anyone within that organisation that you could have a conversation with on the costs of this and come to some arrangement on it that can be reflected on the invoice as a discount to the published charges for the boat lengths so
that it is clear what the arrangement is.
Thanks
Joan

Hi Admin Team
I wonder if someone could explain the rationale behind the charging of harbour dues on our boats? It has been mentioned to me that there are allowances made for the fact our boats are much smaller and so the invoice is amended to reflect this but I just
wanted to make sure that this was the case as boat lengths are not consistent.
I also noticed that there is a boat missing from the list - Holly who is a 16ft Salter Skiff. Sweare Deep our new Celtic Longboat is made of fibreglass not wood.
Thanks
