Great to see that Hollie was placed in second position for the women after a Hawiian outrigger.

Gladys was beaten by 37 seconds by Lt Washington. I think we would have retained the trophy if we had not broken the collar of an oar. Running a plastic collar against a metal gate with no stop definitely reduced the power. We need to eliminate risks of oar breakages next year to return the trophy to rightfull owners.
