Hi all,
For those who haven't seen them yet the GRR results are out. You can find them here ...
https://greatriverrace.org.uk/results-and-winners/You can spend many happy hours sorting them by Boat type, Actual time, Class and so much more.
HUGE Congratulations to the Gladys crew who not only retained the Claydon trophy but came 8th in the Great River Race
Well done to all the crews for some very good times, everyone finished inside 3 hours.
The ladies in SWeare Deep finished in the top ten Celtic Ladies crews ahead of eleven ladies and mixed Celtics. An excellent result in a very competitive class.
Mabel's crew were the second fastest over 60s crew
The Galleys fought their way up through the field both overtaking Gigs and holding off some of the Thames Waterman Cutters with Langstone Lady first Solent Galley home and Sallyport close behind.
Five boats and 30 people to London, 21.6 miles down the Thames in under 3 hours, 6 people for the first time and all home safe. Not bad for a little village club!
