Evening good people - just so you all know - Gladys suffered a broken rudder today and will be out of action for a few days until repairs are made. The broken bits are in my care - hope that's ok with everyone?
Charlotte was very upset that it broke as she was coxing, so I hope we will all reassure her that it was not her fault.

thanks to all who made me feel a lot better, i will try coxing again when calmer weather as i love the rowing
also forg to add thanks to Marilyn who did a brilliant job of coxing afterwards with no rudde and a tied on oar coming back from emswoth
Important thing is that it didn't break during the Great River Race and you all got home safely from Emsworth ............… Plus I've just spent an enjoyable morning out in the shed cutting out the blanks for the new rudder blade - so thank you for that Charlotte - shed time is always good!
