Hamble River Raid Saturday 19th May 2018

Just a reminder that this year’s Hamble River Raid is on Saturday 19th May.

For those who have not taken part in this previously, this is a race up the River Hamble from Hamble Quay to a point by the Jolly Sailor in Bursledon (sadly no time for a swift one) and return down river back to Hamble Quay. We have previously won trophies in this event and have some to defend.

This is a fun day and competitive row taking about 45 minutes for the fastest boats.

There are refreshments and a bar available before and after the row.

It is designed to be an inclusive event, so if you have not raced before this is a good opportunity to start.

We will need assistance with getting the boats to and from the event so please indicate if you are happy to tow.

Please post if you are interested.

Entry will be £10 per person to cover the entrance fee and costs of towing.

Spectators are welcome.
