Hamble River Raid

I hear from River Raid organiser, Andy Cunningham, that it's on again this year in May. Might we join in ... if only to contest/return prizes?

There is a poster... we have attended in the past, its great fun! A very mixed event for those not aware.. a short sprint up the river and back - avoiding the buoys and boats! Lots of people come from near and far.

For us we tow the boats to the Hamble and launch near the river entrance at a Marina and row up to the start. Race, tea, beer and cake; celebrate and return.

The Hamble River Rowing Club are attending our event on the 19th March, so you can meet some of them!
