Evening All,

I just wanted to let you know that the Langstone Little tern colony/project is going to be featured on BBC Breakfast on Friday.  The story they’re doing is around the painting & use of decoys and lures for the national 5 year project.  It should be quite a nice piece but I wanted to highlight the following:

1) Any footage you see of us putting down decoys was actually filmed on long island. They decided to do the filming after we’d already finished and the little terns were back so I couldn’t justify going anyway near the actual colony sites.

2) We’re not using sounds lures in the harbour despite what they may or may not show J

Anyway, our new member of staff (Chantelle) will be interviewed live on Friday morning so it might be worth watching.  They’ve advised their will likely be a piece at 6.50am, 7.50am and 8.50am.

Hopefully, it will do the place justice, fingers crossed...
