Lovely wednesday for a Teifi, anyone interested?

nigel
It's beyond high tide now, so not much time left to make the most of a gorgeous day on the water.
Is anyone interested in using the other Teifi? I'm going for a short spin now, probabbly round the mud-flats via Sweare Deep. Usual ice and ears.

Apologies for gloating,
But being out there boating,
Not doing those things at home that I oughta,
Bemused by the bright ripples on the water,
Dazzled by sun and sky
Dallying, I know not why,
Marvelling at like minded souls
who bent their course, to dismiss the isolation demanded by the channel poles
and mark a resounding stand
against the isolation covid and mud banks demand.
Perhaps another soul today broke free,
but I'm glad that today it was me -
and that I did what I didn't oughta,
and enjoyed being out on the water!!!

P.S. In case you didn't realise, it was a "spiffing" afternoon to be out rowing.......why not try it sometime soon whilst it's still summer!
I can't promise that you won't enjoy it so much that that you end up being perverse
and murdering doggerel, not verse!
