MID WEEK ROW to EMSWORTH - with Chris Partridge @ 14.00 TUESDAY 30th Oct.
This post was updated on .
Hi All
Not much daylight to work with this week.
Taking into account that we have had a good influx of new members recently, I am opting for a nice row along to Emsworth and back, including a stop for refreshments and snacks etc.
Autumn temperatures have really kicked in this week, so do please all bring suitable layers, hats and water.
High water is 15.21 and the start time is 14.00 which should ensure that we should have the boats tucked up in bed by 17.00
It will feel quite chilly with a fresh westerly breeze and there is currently a 20% chance of a shower.
Please sign up in the usual way.
Safety notes: Cannister, radios / walkie takies and layers.
I’m a new member and would like to join this row to Emsworth.
Thanks
Joan

Re: MID WEEK ROW to EMSWORTH - Ideal for new members and old alike 14.00 TUESDAY 30th Oct.
Hi Guys
Work should have quietened down by now, but it is still madly hectic.
We have some problems with air freight consignments in the UAE and Japan this morning which we urgently need to address to minimise the client's destination airport storage charges.
I / We would love to row today, but there simply isn't the time sadly.
I'm really sorry , but if Wendy and I row, we wont be back into the office until 5.30 / 6.00 which will be far too late to ensure that these two shipments are cleared and delivered today.
Chris Partridge has very kindly offered to lead and organise today's row and hopefully the breeze will ease during the afternoon.
Wishing you all a super row.
See you soon. It has to quieten down sometime as it hasnt been as hectic as this for 15 years or more.
Following Andy’s message, my apologies for not being able to row today. In addition to the office work with Andy, I also have an unexpected session with a client.
