Hi all,
Tides are a bit later next week and I’m all over the place too, so I propose a row on Wednesday 1st May
Meet at the boat park at 16:15 (H/W 18:02 4.12m)

May I suggest a blast up to marker then down into Emsworth for an afternoon pint in the Blue Bell, before heading back for home.

Weather isn’t looking great at mo, so let’s all keep one eye on that as the week progresses and assess nearer the time.
As I’m a bit tied up all week, I have no problem if someone wishes to arrange another bonus week day row as well as this one.

Just seen the weather forecast, but being new members and very keen on being team towers and new to the sport what happens if as scheduled we are hit by a heavy downpour as it is showing wet and miserable

Hi Andrew and Julie,
Erm, if we’re out there and it suddenly down pours, basic answer to your question is we carry on….British stiff upper lip and all that!!

I’ll be making a final decision if the row is on or not, during the morning so keep an eye out for a post (I won’t take us out if already raining and miserable) but, if you see no updates, then please assume it’s still on.
Forecast at the moment is showing light winds and odd showers, but I’ll decide by lunchtime what’s happening.

Please feel free to bring waterproof trousers and jackets if you’re worried though. I think we’re still just about in wellie season too.
Most people will certainly have waterproof jackets and wellies with them.
Hope we’re on and look forward to seeing you both tomorrow.

Thank you Mike   looking at the Met weather we are seeing constant rain 90 percentage precipitation from 16.00  and the clouds are forming from the east in Southbourne we both feel that we are pulling out of the row today Julie & Andrew

That’s a shame Andrew and Julie, we will miss you and hope to see you again soon.
Just so you know for future reference we all tend to use the XCWeather app for our forecasts, and are prepared for a little bad weather here and there.

For all others reading this and thinking similarly:
Michael and I have spoken at length earlier today, and have decided the row will still go ahead.
XCWeather is still showing only a possibility of light rain and light wind (F2-3), but please come dressed appropriately.
