Dear Cutters, Meet at Mill 8.30am on what looks like a sunny calm day according to today's BBC weather charts. Launch before 9.00 and row across to Emsworth, via the marker, for breakfast at the Deck. Good water on a 4.8 new moon. Arrive back around 12noon. Post interest on the forum.
See you all on Wednesday.

Dear Members, just a quick update on this Wednesday's row. It is the best day of the week weather wise with full sunshine and little wind, 7mph, and so far we have a crew for one Galley but it's early days yet. Still think it a good idea to go to the Deck in Ems for late brekkie/croissants and coffee and a nice leisurely row back. However if there are any fitness enthusiasts we could have another boat or two and have ourselves a little sprint so sign up soon and we can make a decision. You may need sun tan lotion!!! See you all on Wednesday

We now have 8 people.
Weather still sunny (mind you it's pouring with rain whilst writing this) with a little more breeze circa 8 to 10 mph so should be really refreshing.
So the enthusiastic crew members are:-
Gail, Jackie, Ron, Cheryl, Rachel, Chris Partridge, Geoff and me so that means a Galley and either a Teifi or 15 Seconds or perhaps even trying out Sadie's boat at the back of the Mill compound.
I will try and book a table or two at the Deck for say 10.15.
High tide is 10.34 on a 4.8 so we will go for 12noon prompt return
Don't hesitate to sign up for the row if you haven't already.
Bye for now
Richard
Dear Cutters, Good news--we can row with 2 Galleys now we have 10 people thanks to Christine and Nigel adding their names today. Should more people wish to come along we will be able to accommodate. I have booked the Deck in Ems for 10.15 going on to 10.30. Weather still good so should be a great morning out.
Happy rowing
Richard
Hi Marilyn, No problem with number 13-my birthday number!!--it's May though--if no more come along it still means we have two coxed galleys and a coxed teifi/15seconds so you are very welcome If we get two more rowers joining us we can take out three galleys which would be great fun rowing into Emsworth harbour on a sunny day.
Here's to tomorrow being a great day out.
Richard.
