Mid week row.

Christine
I see that John Chapman is down to organise this weeks rowing, but John has said his rowing time is over.  So I was wondering if Tuesday this week would suit people as the winds are lighter and the chance of rain isn't until 3pm.  I think the start time could be 12 noon.  Going to a mutually agreed location.  if people prefer a different day or option then feel free to post.

Can we go to the Ferryboat Inn? Haven't been there for a while.

Well the ferry boat was my first thought, so yes. Presume the kiosk will be open, but if anyone knows his number please give him a call if that's needed.
Also watched the forecast this morning rain definitely looks likely at 3pm, so if able lets. Get the boat out for a 12 noon start to rowing. I'll go for 11.45am.

OK but I think we need to aim for back around 3pm if weather looks to be wet by then.

Having said that, work has intervened and I need to interview this guy (John Pritchard, Olympic silver medalist rower!) at midday so I won't be able to go to the pub after all...
