Midsummer Mayhem with CRAC - Sunday 22nd June - Room for more

This event draws crews out of a hat to race short races so there is room for more people

Following the success of the 'Twixmass' fun regatta, CRAC have invited us to a morning of Midsummer Mayhem.

Here is the invitation .....

HW on Sunday 22nd is at 09.00, so if we met at 08.00 we could have a  couple of hours practicing our rowing and coxing skills, followed by a BBQ and a beverage.

All over by 12.00 noon.

Prizes for the crews this time will NOT be a Twix - but something equally ephemeral - and a 'Strawberry Trophy' to most successful Club!

We hope that some LCRC  members would be willing to row SWeare Deep over early on Sunday to play around in Celtics, Gigs and Quads (practice your sculling). The usual  challenges: Hunt the Fender; Blindfold Slalom (not the cox); Figure of Eight and more..

I'm not sure if they will have to limit numbers as they already have about 20 of their own club signed up!

We can look forward to Midsummer Mayhem as an annual event in the calendar to enjoy along with Twixmas at the end of the year.
