Unfortunately, I have to work tomorrow but wish you all a good row.
Just one point and a simple heads up!!!
We rowed the Celtic Long Boat back along the North Channel from Emsworth a couple of weeks ago and it appears to sit lower and deeper in the water at the stern, than the Galleys or Claydons.
We came back exactly at the time of HW on a 3.6 neap tide and there was no room at all for error.
I see that tomorrow's tide is predicted at being a 3.9 for Northney which only gives you a touch more water than we had.
Just a thought, as she clearly draws more than the other boats.
Hello All
What a team! Sorry to those that have had to withdraw, thanks for letting us know. Welcome to everyone else, and thanks for the valuable stuff about the trim of the Welsh boat. See everyone 13.30
