Moving boats on Saturday 16th

Steve put up a post earlier inviting folk to raft up some boats on a mooring to watch the gig races on Saturday. The intention was then to row on after the gig races to Northney to place the boats ready for Sunday's Round Hayling. So far we have Marcus, Christine, Phil and myself signed up for this. Steve is willing to help, but is also competing in a gig row on Saturday

So with only four rowers, we need to transport 2 galleys and Gladys over to Northney. Please can we appeal for more rowers to join us to row boats from The Mill to Northney on Saturday. We can't get boats over to Northney on Sunday in time for the Round Hayling start as The Mill will be mud-bound.

Please can we all meet at 11:30 Saturday with the intention of taking the boats halfway to Northney, mooring up, having a picnic and then rowing on to put all 3 boats on a berth in the marina.
