One set of four vintage Claydon Oars still available £300 will secure

The Club has identified some assets to be realised to make space and feed our coffers. There are two sets of four, original wooden Claydon oars which are a hefty 12ft 9inches and a pair of light wooden sculling oars which are 9ft 6inches (see I said they were old, pre decimal in fact) please see below. Before they are placed on the open market it has been asked that they are offered to members for “donations” first.

If anyone is interested could you please give Rachel or I a shout.

I might use them as wall decoration in my new house or maybe the garden.

They would be excellent fence adornments or indeed stair rails! There is a set of four Claydon oars for a donation of £300 or two matching ones for £150
