Marcus... just an idea to take the pain out of subscription collecting, my running club has just gone over to using https://paysubsonline.com/ 
Seems to work very smoothly and removes loads of chasing and allows members to update their own contact details etc.. Its free to organisations under 2000 members so should work for the Cutters for the next couple of years at least ;-)
