What a fabulous surprise it was to hear a friendly rowdy rap on our front door in Balaclava, and to behold Steve and Rachel on our doorstep just two days after we delivered the second van load on New Years Eve.

Great to see you both and what a lovely surprise it was.

Sorry, no decent coffee available. Many boxes to unpack still.

We are loving life here. The locals are enchantingly friendly and the  pace of life is dramatically slower than the mayhem of the South.

Come and see us Cutters it would be great to see you and we also have room to out up three or four bodies.

Thank you both for the lovely surprise Steve and Rachel which made our day. We were both absolutely delighted to see you.

I am going to check out Barmouth Rowing Club who have two Celtics as the estuary is stunningly beautiful and would be a wonderful place to row.

Once again, it was a lovely surprise to see you both and you were our very first visitors on just our second morning in residence.
