Blessing of the Boats Sunday 27 April. THANK YOU

Thank you to everyone who came along to the Blessing of the Boats today. What a great turn out and lovely to have so many other club boats with us too.  A particular thanks to all those who prepped our boats, they looked fabulous!  Another particular thanks to Frances and all her team who served the teas and cakes. A total of £140.79 was raised through donations which will go towards boat maintenance. Our annual Blessing of the Boats Ceremony will be held on Sunday 27th April 2025.  All members and their families/friends are very welcome and encouraged to attend this fun event.   Please be at the boatpark by 1145. The short service and blessing of all our boats will be conducted at 1200 by Reverend Judy Henning and Canon Tom Kennar hopes to join us later.

Frances will be coordinating refreshments and will post for volunteers shortly (please have some cash for voluntary donations).

There may be the opportunity for some fun rowing after the ceremony.

Our local rowing clubs have also been invited to bring one of their boats.

It would be useful to know approximate numbers so please post here if you plan to attend.
