You might have already seen previous posts about this, but some of our members are atending a one day RYA First Aid course at Cobnor Sailing Club on 28th Feb.
I have done the course before and it is very good and relevant to all that we do on and around the water. Not just cuts and bandages etc, but it covers things like CPR, AED, heart attacks, strokes, hypothermia, dehydration, shock etc - all on land and at sea.
This is all really important stuff for us to know, asp, as our trips are getting more varied and widespread in waters we don’t know.
The certificate covers you for 3 years and is a cost of £75 (payment link to be sent nearer the time).
We already have 6 people interested, but there’s plenty of room for more.
