Just a reminder that if you wish to enter the Round Hayling Race on 5th September you need to post your name on my original post by the end of Sunday evening 1st August. The entry fee is £12 per person and further details about this race are on www.roundhaylingrace.co.uk Remember the fastest galley's best time is 2 hours 10 minutes and it is often a 3 hour + race. We will be swapping positions during the race and carrying a passenger so everyone can row and then take turns as cox or passenger.
