As always it was a really tough race as you could tell by the condition of the rowers when they arrived at the finish! Well done to everyone who took part especially the first timers. A brilliant row by the Gladys crew who came across the line second but having rowed for 40 minutes longer than anyone in a Gig. Thank you for giving way to Heart of Hayling in such a gentlemanly fashion.

The weather was kind and Round the Island we went!!

First Across the Line on Handicap Langstone Pilot Gig Club in Heart of Hayling - retaining the trophy and Fastest Pilot Gig.
Fastest Round the Island - Coastal Rowing Academy Club Quad - Quadrant; also fastest Quad and Fastest Ladies crew! A new Record 2 hours 06m 15s (was 2h 6m 45s held by Weymouth for 9 years).
Fastest Vets & Fastest Bursledon Gig - Tudor SC in Freedom;
Fastest Supervets- Langstone Cutters RC in Gladys.
Fastest Mixed - Tudor in Orange Peel;
Fastest Solent Galley - Itchenor SC;
Fastest Celtic Longboat - Langstone Cutters RC.
Finally then Langstone Adventure Rowing Sportsman's trophy goes to the CRAC mixed crew in Teylu - last across the line and a complete novice crew! Well done!
