Just got access back to forum so repeating my earlier email message, saying that I can't come this afternoon due to unexpected visitors.
Has anyone else on the forum had BT broadband problems since 11 pm last night??? BT don't report any local problems, but trying all usual remedies failed. Service apparently restored at about 15:03 today.

Hi Tom and you all,
I’m so sorry for not getting to you for yesterday’s row, and for not letting you know.
I was coming back from a meeting in Guildford and managed to get a tyre blowout on the A3, and had no battery left in my phone!
Luckily spare in the boot etc, but it took ages on the side of the road!!
Hope you all had a good row and didn’t wait for me for too long.
So sorry, see you all very soon.
