Ah thanks Christine for letting me know.  It was just lucky that I looked on the diary dates yesterday, or I would not have known and wouldn't want to let anyone down.  Is this how we are supposed to check our duties, or does an email normally come through - just so I know for the future?

Hi Ally

As this is your first time that i have put you down for Sunday Open row duties, i should have emailed or called you , for which apologies.

Sunday open row is hosted by club members on a volunteer basis and we all get to to our bit during the year.

Some members regularly volunteer for Sunday open row duties and the rest are carefully rostered and generally get to be allocated duties every couple of months or thereabouts.

We also take into account when people are available as some of the guys who enbjoy gig rowing cant do the morning duties, because they are rowing at Northney.

Best just to keep an eye on the diary for updates , although i do frequently post on the forum that the diary has been updated and that members should check accordingly.
