Rowing Tour on the Norfolk Broads - 29th June to 3rd July 2020- NEW update below

Dear members
        Back in 2014 the club were invited to send a couple of boats to join a rowing tour of the Norfolk Broads organised and hosted by the CRAB rowing club based in Blakeney. Those of us who went enjoyed a brilliant week exploring the Broads with good food, excellent company and lovely scenery ( although there are a lot of reeds).  Here is a link to the video of the trip which gives a good idea of what went on

We have been asking every year when they might do it again and the answer is next year. Adrian who is in charge of the organisation has asked me to post to see who might be interested in going. He will have to limit numbers as he organises transport to and from the boats each day but as yet is not sure how many spaces he will have for us. He has started by inviting all those who went in 2014 to go back but I'm sure there will be space for others too.

So please post below if you think you might be interested. There will be camping available or B&Bs nearby.

Yes, please, for a rerun of 2014 - but preferably without the rain! It was a brilliant trip, and most enjoyable - even the bit where I had to reverse the double trailer in to quite a restricted space, with a sheer drop and water either side!

Hi all,
        I have been talking to Adrian and at the moment he needs to limit us to 12 rowers and 2 boats for logistical reasons. If one of the other clubs he has invited doesn't take up the offer we may be able to take another boat. Also peoples plans change so reserves are always needed. As I explained in the original post priority goes to those who went last time because Adrian invited them individually before offering remaining space to the club.
