FYI.., Jenny and I met with the new Landlord of the Royal Oak today. He is Tony and his partner Tam.
In the general "Hi how are you", we were asked to identify how the pub could could improve... as part of that Tony indicated that, if we are having events and gatherings, they would be prepared to offer up sandwiches and chips (for example) to support our activities.
He was keen to ensure that, while it remains a commercial pub, they are open to ideas of supporting the Club and bringing the members in...
