SATURDAY evening Excursion row - Meet 18.00

HI All,

The tides for Saturday do not favour a morning row unless anyone fancies getting up at 06.00, hence we are off for a lovely summer evening aqua outing somewhere down Chichester harbour in the direction of HISC and meeting up at 18.00 hours.

A force 3/4 WSW breeze is forecasted and there's a 10 per cent chance of a shower.

The water temperature is 13C and life preservers are recommended.

It will get chilly when the sun sets so do bring layers for the latter stages of the row.

If the weather holds up we will likely be back around 21.30.

Hi All
We are twelve in total which works well for two gallies.
It's too windy to take a Teifi and the crew of it would get soaked.
Met office is predicting that the wind will drop during the row, so although we are on our limit, we should be OK if we tuck ourselves in the Lee round the corner.
I'll see you at six.
