Sad at oar state

Today, I went out in a teifi and found that one of the carbon oars had lost its end knob, where you place your thumb. So we rowed on an open metal end ring.  If you see a black semi circular end Any where around, please put it in the oar end.
Please can I ask that all oars are treated with respect when moved around the boats and any other places thy are put.

The grips on the older Teifi blades have needed replacing for some time. I will order new ones from Janousek and fit them when they arrive, including a new end cap which I suspect is lost.
