Sallyport footplate and oar issue

Hi Geoff and Rich,
I forgot to add this last week.
When doing the around Hayling race, I was in bow (no.1) of Sallyport.
The footplate is very thin, making it very wobbly indeed and doesn’t fit properly. I tried wedging it, but that didn’t work either. As a result it’s hard to keep momentum.

Just wonder if there’s anything we could do about it please guys (a proper wedge maybe?!)

While here, the black collar on that (no.1 carbon oar) oar needs looking at too please. It has a split it in that keeps getting stuck in the gate, making feathering very hard work.

Geoff and I will have a look. May need a proper job as this is an issue with Lady as well. Old age !
