This Saturday is the Gig regatta before the round Hayling race. We will be meeting at 9am having a short row and watching the gig races.  If you would like to bring mid morning refreshments we will moore up and have a picnic as we watch. Weather looks British at 17 degrees C .

We have been allocated Hammerhead A ( Alpha) first pontoon as you enter the marina for our boats for Saturday night, we need to berth in pairs one galley next to a Claydon.

I will be on a saftey boat during the Gig club Regatta and will plan to tow the Claydons to the beth once racing has finished. with Les.  We will remove the covers and get them back to the boat park.

We will be rowing 2 galleys down the harbour one will be 3 rowers unless someone else wants to join us. Watch a few races as we have refreshments.  Then mooring at the marina and walking back, so pack extra shoes if your rowing shoes cannot walk the 3/4 mile back to the Ship inn or home.
